2 Geneva Cemeteries To Undergo Semi-Annual Cleanup

Decorations or personal items left at gravesites should be cleared in March, officials said.

GENEVA, IL — Two Geneva cemeteries are scheduled to undergo a semi-annual cleanup April 3, officials announced.

The two cemeteries impacted are Oak Hill, 799 Bennett St., and West Side, 301 Stevens St.

In light of the planned maintenance, Geneva Public Works Department staff is asking anyone who placed decorations or personal items at gravesites to remove them in March. Community members also have the option to call the department, at 630-232-1501, and ask that the decorations be preserved.

Decorations left behind will be cleared as part of the cleanup, which is completed every April and November.
