5 Restaurants Serving Thanksgiving Lunch, Dinner in Tri-Cities

Cooking on Thanksgiving is not for everyone.

For those who would like to forgo preparing the turkey, stuffing and pies, here is a look at five local restaurants that will be open on Thanksgiving. Many require reservations so be sure to call ahead.

Wildwood Restaurant, 477 South Third Street, 630-377-8325: Wildwood will have daytime seating from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and evening seating from 5 to 8 p.m. A full Thanksgiving feast menu can be viewed online.The cost is $44 for adults, $22 for children under 12 and children 5 years old and younger are free. Reservations are required.

Claddaugh Irish Pub, 1702 Commons Drive, 630-208-0337: Claddaugh will be serving a Thanksgiving buffet. There will be turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce and plenty of deserts. Cost is $24.95 for adults and $9.95 for kids 5 to 10 years old. Children under 4 years old are free. Reservations are strongly suggested.

Oscar Swan Country Inn, 1800 W. State St. in Geneva, 630-232-0173: Oscar Swan will serve up a traditional Thanksgiving dinner from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. Reservations are encouraged.

Pheasant Run Resort, 4051 E. Main St. in St. Charles, 630-584-6300 : Pheasant Run will offer a Thanksgiving Day buffet from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cost is $34.95 per person for adults and $13.95 for children ages 4 to 12 years old. Children 3 years old and younger are free. A menu for the Thanksgiving Day buffet can be viewed online.

Hotel Baker’s Rainbow Room, 100 West Main St. in St. Charles, (630) 584-2100: A Thanksgiving Day buffet will be served from 2 to 6 p.m. Reservations can be made by calling 630.584.2100. A menu can be viewed on the Hotel Baker Facebook page.
