Until the new school year starts soon in Geneva, there is a slew of fun activities scheduled to make the most of summer.

GENEVA, IL — School starts soon in Aurora, leaving little time to check off items from the summer bucket list.

Several events are coming up before Geneva students head back to class Aug. 20.

Here are some ways to make the most of the final stretch of summer:

Hear oldies performed by husband-and-wife duo Matt and Cynthia Gruel of Nostalgia Entertainment Aug. 11 at the Geneva History Museum. Tickets also include coupons for The Little Traveler and its Atrium Cafe.
Meet friends and mingle while shopping at the Geneva French Market on Sundays downtown.
Take part in the Geneva Public Library's Lego-building event Aug. 7.
Check out Geneva's new New York-style deli and hear The Brothers Sinatra perform live Aug. 7.
See The Beach Boys perform live Aug. 14 at Aurora's newly opened RiverEdge Park.
Attend a Kane County Cougars game.
Admire classic and race cars gathered for the Classic Car Show each Thursday through Aug. 27 in the parking lot behind the Kane County Courthouse.
Enjoy a stand-up show at The Comedy Vault in downtown Batavia.
