Auditions Held Soon for Geneva's Got Talent Competition

The auditions will be held on May 6. The Got Talent competition is held during the Swedish Days festival.

GENEVA, IL - Auditions for the 2017 Geneva's Got Talent competition will be held on May 6. The Geneva Chamber of Commerce and Geneva Park District are teaming up in hosting the fun-filled talent competition at this summer's Swedish Days festival and are seeking all levels of talent from BMX bike riders to skateboarders, singers, dancers, magicians, jugglers, gymnasts or those with any unique talent.

Auditions will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on May 6 at Playhouse 38, 321 Stevens Street, Suite P, in Geneva, according to a news release. Only the first 75 applications received will be invited to audition for the chance to perform during Swedish Days and their shot at the $1,000 cash grand prize. All ages and talents are welcomed to audition. You do not have to live in Geneva to apply.

Semi-finalists and finalists will perform on the Central Stage during Swedish Days Festival on Wednesday, June 21, and finals will be held on Saturday, June 24, according to a news release.
