GENEVA, IL — One of the best small towns for retirees can be found in Kane County, according to a recent survey.

World Atlas, a website that covers geography, travel and economics, named Geneva one of Illinois's top 13 small towns to retire in.

To come to its determination, the publisher rated towns for being tranquil, having lively cultural scenes, prioritizing health care and facilities and being a fun-filled location to live post-retirement.

The article cited the Geneva History Museum and the historic district as being places that "display artifacts walking you through time." Retirees can also enjoy the city's vibrant dining scene and many entertainment options at the Fox Valley Ice Arena and Northwestern Medicine Field.
