Two residents lost power Saturday afternoon after a car crashed into an electric pole.
GENEVA, IL — Two Geneva residents lost power Saturday afternoon after a car crashed into an electric pole, city officials said in a news release Monday afternoon.
The Geneva Public Works Department responded to the power outage around 4:30 p.m.in the 1600 block of Crissey Avenue on the city’s east side.
It took crews about 6 hours to replace the damaged electric pole, restoring service around 10:30 p.m.

Officials are reminding residents to report any after-hours and weekend outages to the Geneva Police Department at 630-232-4736. Police will then dispatch on-call Public Works personnel.
