City-Wide Garage Sale Will Return For 2 Days; Registration Open

While the Geneva Chamber will work on advertising and marketing, participants of the upcoming garage sale will keep all their profits.

GENEVA, IL — For many, spring cleaning season has already become. Those who are looking to find new homes for their belongings will be able to do so in the upcoming Geneva City-Wide ABC Garage Sale.

The garage sale — called "ABC" because organizers suggest cleaning attics, basements and closets — is set to take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 22 and 23.

The Geneva Chamber of Commerce, the event's host, will do the advertising, marketing, printing and distribution related to the event.

In order to participate, residents will have to pay $30 by April 7. But residents keep all profits made from the garage sale.

Participants will have their address and key items listed on a map, which will be distributed at locations across the city and posted on the Chamber's website. Organizers will also send out a sign for residents to post near their homes.
