GENEVA, IL — Don't be alarmed if you see cops standing on Dunkin' rooftops Friday. They'll be up there to raise money for Special Olympics Illinois.

The Geneva Police Department, in partnership with its neighboring agency in Batavia, will be participating in the annual Cops on a Rooftop event from 6-11 a.m. Friday. Officers will be staking out the roofs at two Dunkin' locations, 206 E. State St. in Geneva and 2002 W. Wilson St. in Batavia.

At the annual fundraiser, customers who donate to the cause will be given a coupon for a free doughnut. Donors giving $10 or more will receive a coupon for a free coffee and a Law Enforcement Torch Run travel mug, while supplies last, and a coupon for a free medium coffee.
