Our beautiful, full size, 78 foot Viking ship is based on a 1000 year old excavated ship.&nbsp; Hand built in Norway in 1893, our "VIKING"&nbsp; was sailed by a hardy crew of 12 adventurers non stop across the entire stormy North Atlantic, to become a star attraction of the Chicago World's Columbian Exposition of 1893.&nbsp;Hear its exciting story, admire its dramatic beauty, and learn the secrets of the ancient Viking shipbuilders. Open 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM on 6/21, 6/27 and 6/28 ONLY.Tours led by our friendly, expert guides begin every 15 minutes. No reservations are needed. Enjoy our hands-on displays of Viking style jewelry, tools, weapons and historic images, and enjoy the selection of quality, affordable items from our gift shop.
