Foster Homes Needed THIS Sunday 7/2

***FOSTER HOMES NEEDED – CAN ARRIVE SUNDAY JULY 2ND***

Need confirmed fosters by Saturday 7/1 at 1pm

These deserving dogs and puppies have the opportunity to arrive THIS SUNDAY, but they need committed foster homes for Safe Haven Dog Rescue to bring them to safety. We are an all foster based rescue and do not have a physical shelter to house these pups. We rely on the generosity of the community to open their homes to help us save them.

These are the pups that need foster:

Black Male Chihuahua Mix: About 2 ½ years old. Housebroken. Warms up to adults quickly, wants to be pet and lay in your lap. Cautious around other dogs, but acclimates after a slow introduction. Better with older children and adults.

Tan Male Chihuahua Mix: About 1 ½ year old. Housebroken. Good with all humans and other dogs.

Litter of 9 puppies – Born 5/7/23: These puppies will be split into groups of 2 or 3. The owner says “if he can't find someone to take them, he's going to shoot them” because he can't afford to feed them. If you look closely at the pictures, they are drinking out of an old coffee container. Our hearts break for these puppies! Please don't make them stay there and face the inevitable, it's not their fault their owners are irresponsible and cold-hearted.

Fostering is a very rewarding experience and a great way to support your local rescue.

While you foster, we will provide you with all the supplies you need…crate, food, toys, leash, collar, and vetting at our vet office. You provide continued love!
