Gas Gauge: Citgo Has Today's Best Price—By a Penny

The bad news for us is that the price of a gallon of gas is up a dime. The good news is that the Citgo across from the Government Center is a penny less then the others in the group.

Last week we suggested filling up right away because the price surely had to go up, and we hate to say so, but we were right.

, before the , the average price of a gallon of regular in Geneva was $3.19. This week, it's $3.29.

One interesting difference in the gas gauge is that the Citgo station was 2 cents higher than the rest last week and a penny less then the others this week. While the other stations are in lockstop, this Citgo marches to a different drummer, and bless the management for that.
