Gas Gauge: Down to Around $4.09; Will It Go Back Under $4?
Gas data: Most Geneva stations are at $4.09, with just two exceptions.

With five of seven Geneva stations sharing the low total of $4.09 for a gallon of regular gas, the question that begs to be asked—especially as we're driving to the Government Center to drop off our whopping —is the same one asked by Ludacris and Chubby Checker.

The answer is that they already have—in communities like Bolingbrook, Lemont, Darien and Woodridge. I have no idea why that is, but you can check out the Chicago area GasBuddy.com prices if you don't believe me.
In Geneva, the average price is $4.097, which we have to round up to $4.10—but it's still a nickel better than last week.

It should be noted that we collected data for Gas Gauge on Tuesday morning, due to the Memorial Day holiday. Monday is our usual collection day.
