Gas Gauge Stuck on $3.69 a Gallon

It's redundant again, as Yogi Berra might have said.

The price of gasoline is both unanimous and redundant this week.

For the second week in a row, every station in Geneva is locked and loaded at $3.69 a gallon.

A quick look at gasbuddy.com Geneva page tells us that we're about 5 cents higher than the state average and 16 cents higher than the national average. The scary statistic is that the state average was $2.82 a year ago.

The best price in the Geneva area might be Costco, 221 S. Randall Road near Oak in St. Charles, where the price is listed as $3.54. If you see anything better, let us know in the comments field.

As always, if you want to know more about Illinois gas prices, check out gasbuddy.com or the U.S. Energy Information Administration home page.
