Geneva Classic Car Show Canceled Due To Poor Air Quality
Geneva's air quality was listed as "hazardous" Thursday afternoon, according to AirNow.

GENEVA, IL — The second Classic Car Show of the season has been canceled Thursday due to poor air quality, the Geneva Chamber of Commerce announced.
The National Weather Service and Illinois Environmental Protection Agency issued an air quality alert for Wednesday and Thursday due to the smoke from Canadian wildfires polluting the air.
Northern Illinois was expected Wednesday to be on the edge of a "thick plume of surface smoke" that moved in from the north, with cleaner air pushing in from the south, the weather service said.
