Geneva Commons To Host 3-Day Back-To-School Shopping Event

On the first day of the event, shoppers can pick up a free drawstring bag filled with retailer coupons.

GENEVA, IL — Geneva Commons is kicking off the 2022-23 school year with a three-day back-to-school shopping event. From Aug. 12-14, shoppers will not only have the chance to shop for the school year but also participate in giveaways, raffles and photo opportunities.

On Aug. 12, mall staff will be giving away free drawstring bands with retailer coupons to help shoppers. On the same day, participants will also be able to enter in a gift card raffle for a chance to win from a pot of more than $3,000 in prizes.

Throughout mall hours during the event, shoppers can also stop by pop-up shops from the winners of the Uncommon Collective Contest. Storefronts include a bakery, a party store, a skincare shop and two clothing boutiques — all of which will remain open through Labor Day.
