GENEVA, IL — Geneva was crowned one of the most charming towns in Illinois by an online travel magazine.

Fifteen cities, villages and towns across the state joined Geneva on Trips to Discover's list published Feb. 17.

Reasons for the city's addition to the list were plentiful. The publication cited Geneva's architecture, scenic views, shopping and restaurants as noteworthy facets. The city's many festivals — including Festival of the Vine and Holiday House Tour — as well as its connection to Frank Lloyd Wright through the Japanese Fabyan Villa Museum and Japanese Garden were also noted.
