Geneva Finance Department To Close For Staff Software Training

Locals who usually go into the office to pay their bills won't be able to for one day in October.

GENEVA, IL — The Geneva Finance Department will be closed Oct. 24 while staff participate in software training, officials announced.

That means locals who were planning to pay their bills in person or speak to staff will have to stop by the facility before or after the affected Tuesday.

Utility bills can also be paid online, via U.S. Mail or deposited in dropboxes at City Hall, the Finance Department and both Geneva fire stations. Phone payments are also an option using the city's interactive voice response system at 877-875-2709.
