Geneva Library Book Sale Is Almost Here: What To Expect

Books spanning many genres will range in price from 50 cents to $2 during the Friends of Geneva Public Library book sale.

GENEVA, IL — The Friends of Geneva Public Library's annual book sale returns Friday through Sunday, meaning a plethora of books in various genres will be on sale for just a couple of dollars.

Proceeds from the book sale will fund reading program prizes as well as programs and resources that benefit all ages, organizers said.

Sale hours for the Geneva Art Fair Book Sale will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday and from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday. On Friday, there will be a $5 admission between 10 a.m. to noon only, and on Sunday, books will be half-price.

Prices will vary by type of book:

  • Adult hardcover and paperback, $2
  • Adult mass paperback, $1
  • Children’s hardcover, $1
  • Children’s paperback, $0.50
  • Board books, $0.50

Acceptable payment forms include credit cards, cash and checks.

Book donations are regularly accepted at the library and can be dropped off during normal business hours. Magazines and encyclopedias are not accepted.
