Baker was driving his 1967 Sunbeam Alpine east on Fabyan Parkway, about to turn left onto Batavia Avenue, when his vehicle was struck by a 2004 Jeep Liberty traveling west on Fabyan, according to a Batavia Police Department press release. Both drivers had a green light and it appears Baker turned left in front of the Jeep, which was driven by an 18-year-old Geneva man, police said.

A female passenger in the Sunbeam was ejected from the vehicle. She was also taken by helicopter to Good Samaritan Hospital and her condition was not immediately available.
