GENEVA, IL — Geneva residents again have access to the city’s playgrounds and Mill Creek Pool after the park district reopened many of its facilities at the end of June. Illinois entered phase 4 of its reopening plan on June 29, which allows groups of up to 50 people to gather, with safety precautions.

All Geneva Park District playgrounds are now open, with visitors asked to wear a mask, practice social distancing and avoid contact between kids from different households. The outdoor playground equipment will not be sanitized, officials said, telling parents to visit at their own risk.
