Geneva, St. Charles Named 1 Of 15 Most Beautiful Towns In America

GENEVA, IL — Geneva and its sister city St. Charles are among 15 towns across the United States that have been deemed the "most beautiful" by World Atlas.

The Kane County cities are listed together in the group's recent list of beautiful towns in states from every corner of the United States.

World Atlas said Geneva and St. Charles offer "a soothing setting with some light social activities peppered in" and described the area on the Fox River as being "rich in boutique shops, vintage hotels, identity-driven restaurants and cafes, dog-friendly parks, riverside walking paths and chipper residents."

"This tri-city area (which also includes Batavia, a little further South down the river) exudes plenty of small-town goodness while still being within shouting distance of one of the great American cities," reads the report.
