Geneva Woman Charged With Sex Assault of Minor

A former Carpentersville Middle School employee, who lives in Geneva, faces sex assault charges for allegations she had sexual contact with a minor, prosecutors said Monday.

Lindsay P. Anderson, 26, of the 900 block of Foxwood Circle in Geneva, is charged with one count of criminal sex assault, a Class 1 felony, and one count of aggravated criminal sexual abuse, a Class 2 felony, according to a Kane County State’s Attorney’s Office press release.

Prosecutors allege that between April 1 and May 8, Anderson had sexual contact with the victim who she knew and who was under the age of 18 years old, according to the news release.

The victim’s parents learned of the alleged assault and contacted East Dundee Police.

Anderson was arrested by Geneva police on May 15 and appeared in bond court on Sunday where her bail was set at $100,000.

Anderson had recently been employed at Carpentersville Middle School, which is a part of Community Unit School District 300.

Anderson is next expected in court on June 4.
