Heat Fails At Geneva Public Works Department, Office Closes To Visitors
Residents will not be able to enter the building to speak to staff in person until the heating issue is resolved, city officials said.

GENEVA, IL — The Geneva Public Works building is closed to visitors Tuesday after the furnace malfunctioned in a portion of the building, officials said.
Crew members will be working in the field as planned, but guests will not be able to enter the building, at 1800 South St., to talk to staff in person until the heating issue is resolved.

Non-emergency concerns can be reported using the city's SeeClickFix system. Batteries can be dropped off inside the front door vestibule during normal business hours, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
