Honey Tasting During Educational Session About Bees Planned In Geneva
A member of the Fox Valley Beekeeping Association will be in attendance to discuss how honey bees are important for everyone's food supply.
GENEVA, IL — The Geneva Public Library will host an educational session about the importance of honey bees.
The "Honey Bees: Just A Bug Or Not?" session, geared toward adults, is set to take place from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Saturday in the meeting room at the Geneva Public Library District, 227 S. Seventh St.
Katie Hart, a member of the Fox Valley Beekeeping Association, will lead the event and discuss the importance of honey bees for food supply and ways people can help the bees survive.

Participants will also have a chance to sample honey and check out a glass observation hive.
Registration, which is required, can be completed on the library's website.
