Kane County Adds Saturday Hours To Fabyan Recycling Center

The Kane County Recycling Center in Batavia is now open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays as part of a new pilot program.

The Kane County Recycling Center in Batavia is now open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays as part of a new pilot program.West Dundee will continue to maintain Monday through Friday hours as always, and will not have any weekend hours at this point.Both locations, listed below, also accept Christmas lights and any holiday light strands.

Batavia

Location: 517 E. Fabyan ParkwayHours: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday

West Dundee Public Works

Location: 900 Angle TarnHours: 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to Friday

Items Accepted at Recycling Centers:

• Appliances (non-freon appliances only like washers, driers, stoves, microwaves, hot water tanks)• Books• Christmas/Holiday light strings• Clothing & TextilesElectronics• Scrap Metal (Fabyan location only)
