Playhouse 38 To Reunite Past Performers For 10th Anniversary Event

The Geneva Park District theater is marking a decade of being open and will celebrate with performances, memories and light refreshments.

GENEVA, IL — Playhouse 38, Geneva Park District's intimate theater, is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.

To celebrate, staff plan to reunite past performers, reprise past performances and share memories about the last decade for a celebration on Feb. 3. The free event, open to all ages, will kick off at 1 p.m. at the theater, located at 321 Stevens St.

"Individuals can contact us if they wish to perform a past song, monologue, or skit from a previous Playhouse 38 production," Cultural Arts and Recreation Coordinator Tanya Osika said in a statement. "We also are inviting community members to share their written memories with us so we can incorporate them into the event."

Visitors will be able to indulge in light refreshments at the event. Alcoholic beverages will be for sale.

An RSVP form is available online for those who wish to attend as a guest or to sign up to share a memory or performance. People interested in performing should submit the document by 5 p.m. Jan. 26; they'll then be contacted by Osika via email, tosika@genevaparks.com.
