If you are interested in helping an adult communicate in English, you will want to attend Literacy Volunteers Fox Valley's free tutor training workshop.

The workshop will meet from 6:30 to 9 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Feb. 8, 10, 15, and 17 at the St. Charles Public Library, 1 S. 6th Ave., in St. Charles. Attendance will be limited to allow for social distancing and masks will be required.

Literacy Volunteers Fox Valley helps adults read, write, speak, and understand English by matching them with trained volunteer tutors who provide in-person or virtual lessons once each week at a time that is convenient to both.
