Man, 38, Found Dead at Baseball Field in Batavia
The man, who police believe is homeless, was found at the baseball field on Clark Island Tuesday afternoon.

BATAVIA, IL - A 38-year-old man was found dead at a baseball field in Batavia Tuesday afternoon, police said.
Police were called to Clark Island, 420 S. River St., at 12:29 p.m. for a report of a person who was not breathing. Authorities believe Timothy A. Wright, 38, formerly of 4 S. Lincoln St. in Batavia, had been sleeping in the area at the time of his death, according to a Batavia Police Department press release.
While the death remains under investigation, police said there is no danger to the public and no reason to believe the ball park or Clark Island "is unsafe in anyway."
