No. 3: Have a B.E.L.T. at Table 38

Eating cheaply doesn't have to mean eating poorly. These 10 Geneva eateries offer some excellent bargain bites.

This is a series about some sneaky-good meals under $10 in Geneva.

The first was at Egg Harbor and the second at Graham's Fine Chocolates. Now we're suggesting a table for two—or one or a dozen, for that matter—at Table 38.

As lunchtime approaches, perhaps it's time to start thinking about heartier fare. A sandwich from Table 38 would probably hit the spot. The eatery isn't just known for cheap eating or sandwiches, but luckily for Geneva, and our wallets, it has both, at least during lunch.

Cheap Eat: The B.E.L.T., or bacon, eggs, lettuce and tomato sandwich served on toasted multi-grain bread for $8.95.

About this series

Anytime is a great time to save a few dollars. Unfortunately, if you love to go out to eat, you can find yourself draining those savings rather quickly. Luckily, there's a compromise. Geneva is host to a number of restaurants that are both delicious and affordable.

In this series, we've put together our picks for Geneva's best eats under $10.

Now, here are the very important caveats:

  • Bill wrote this awhile back, and menus are subject to change.
  • Even though they're labeled from No. 1 to No. 10, that doesn't mean that's their rank, by quality or price. It's just the order in which we threw them together.
  • Also, this is not by any means a quintessential list. In fact, if you've got a favorite, let us know! Patch is a participatory sport, and it's OK with us if there are 50 under $10.
