• Kane County promotes National Voter Registration Month (thevoice.us) — Kane County's clerk is urging residents, including those in Geneva, to register or update their voter information ahead of the November 3, 2026 General Election. You can register in person at the clerk's office on South Batavia Avenue in Geneva, by mail, or online, as long as you meet citizenship, age, and residency requirements.
   

• Geneva girls volleyball takes down Wheaton Warrenville South for first conference win of season (shawlocal.com) — Geneva High School's girls volleyball team just earned its first DuKane Conference win of the season, sweeping Wheaton Warrenville South on the road. Led by standout hitter Emma Peterson and energetic junior Zori Malone, the Vikings dominated both sets and showcased rising younger talent. • Perdy's Second Chance: From 6.6 Pounds to a Forever Home (kanecountyconnects.com) — A local Dalmatian named Perdy was nursed back to health at Kane County Animal Control's facility on Keslinger Road in Geneva and recently found a new home. The shelter highlights her recovery to encourage more adoptions and reminds residents they can walk in during posted hours to meet other pets ready for forever families.
