Puppy Fosters Needed THIS Sunday 3/3!

🏡 URGENT - Three Foster Homes Needed – Sunday 3/3! 🏡

Safe Haven Dog Rescue has the chance to make a big difference in these deserving dogs’ lives, but we need committed foster homes to bring them to safety.

Our rescue partner is coming Sunday 3/3, but we can save as many as we have foster homes for. The shelter is completely overcrowded, and the streets of this rural area of the south are teeming with discarded and abandoned dogs. There are minimal resources available to help them.

These are the dogs that are hopeful to be lucky enough to come North:

4 Puppies, 9-10 Weeks Old – Can foster all 4 together or can separate into 2 homes with 2 puppies each. They have had their first vaccines. They will need love, socialization, and then start working on basic manners and potty training.

Victoria – About 2 years old and possibly pregnant (there are no spay and neuter laws and dogs run loose and create unwanted litters). She is good with both dogs and cats. She is Heartworm Positive and will need treatment, that will be covered by Safe Haven, after she either has puppies or if we find she is not pregnant. There is no risk to your dog if they are on a HW Preventative. She has 2 big strikes against her when it comes to finding rescue, she is HW Positive and she’s black. Black dogs are some of the most overlooked dogs in the shelter. Combine that with the cost of Heartworm treatment and many rescues pass them over.
