Register Now: Geneva Citizen Police Academy 2018

The Geneva PD's inaugural Citizen Police Academy is coming, showing locals how their cops do their job.

From the Geneva Police Department: Curious to learn how the Geneva Police officers do their job? Register to be part of the inaugural Citizen Police Academy in 2018.

The weekly classes will run from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Thursday nights from Jan. 11 through March 22. The program was created to give residents an overview and insight into the department along with a behind-the-scenes look at police operations.

Citizen Academy participants must be 21 years or older and reside within the City of Geneva.

Applications for the academy are available on the City’s website or at the Geneva Police Department. The program is free, but space is limited.

Completed applications can be mailed to the Geneva Police Department, Attn: Sgt. Bradley Jerdee, 20 Police Plaza, Geneva, IL 60134. The deadline is 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1.
