Route 25 In Geneva Lane Closures: What You Need To Know

The road will see lane closures from Batavia to St. Charles, so be sure to take that into account when traveling.

GENEVA, IL — Motorists should expect delays along Route 25 this week, starting Nov. 6, as an Illinois Department of Transportation contractor continues resurfacing the road.

A press release from Geneva officials said a potential alternate route is Kirk Road. Route 25, from Route 64 in St. Charles to East Wilson Street in Batavia will be affected this fall.

The press release says the project will include the entire stretch of Route 25, Bennett Street and Crissey Avenue, in Geneva.

All work is weather dependent. Officials also said sidewalks are included as part of the project as workers will make improvements to them.
