Route 25 Geneva Road Work Details

The massive road resurfacing project includes much of Geneva with lane closures. Expect delays.

GENEVA, IL - From The Illinois Department of Transportation: The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) contractor continues resurfacing operations on Route 25 in Geneva.

The week of Nov. 20, crews will be lane striping the road and placing sod in the parkways.

Motorists should expect delays due to lane closures. A potential alternate route is Kirk Road.

The State is resurfacing Route 25 from Route 64 in St. Charles south to East Wilson Street in Batavia this fall. The project will include the entire stretch of Route 25 (Bennett Street and Crissey Avenue) in Geneva.

Sidewalk improvements are included as part of the project.

Other improvements slated for Route 25 this week include:
Batavia: Placing sod in the parkways
St. Charles: Removing and replacing brick, placing top soil and sod in the parkways, and lane striping.

All work is weather dependent.
