See When Christmas Tree Pickup Is Planned In Geneva
Geneva residents will have several opportunities to dispose of their live Christmas trees after the holidays.

GENEVA, IL — Geneva residents will have several opportunities to dispose of their live Christmas trees after the holidays — no refuse sticker required.
Trees will be picked up by LRS, the city's waste hauler, on garbage days during the weeks of Jan. 1 and Jan. 8. Trees discarded after the first two weeks of the new year will need to have one refuse sticker attached.
Locals must place trees on the curb no later than 7 a.m. on their respective garbage collection days. Ornaments, hooks, nails, tinsel, garland, tree stands and other hard materials need to be removed. City officials noted trees placed in bags will not be accepted.
