Solar Eclipse Viewing Party Planned For Peck Farm Park
The event will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday.
GENEVA, IL -- A special solar eclipse viewing party will be held Monday, Aug. 21, at Peck Farm Park. The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the park, which is located at 4038 Kaneville Road in Geneva. There will be activities, learning stations and eclipse viewing boxes.
In addition, a special scope and computer will be set up by the Fox Valley Astronomical Society to safely view the eclipse. Those attending are encouraged to bring a picnic lunch and your own solar viewing glasses.
