TLC Reality TV Star Joins Local Volunteers at Northern Illinois Food Bank Monday

TLC’s Season of Giving made a stop in Geneva Monday.
Amy Roloff, star of TLC’s Little People, Big World reality TV show, was at the Northern Illinois Food Bank, 273 Dearborn Court, on Monday for a day of community service.
There she joined 50 volunteers from the Chicago area to sort and package food. The volunteers were winners of a TLC sweepstakes.

The event came to the Chicago area as part of TLC’s Season of Giving and as part of a national partnership between TLC and Feeding America designed to get local communities involved in the fight against hunge
“I was honored to have the opportunity to work alongside my TLC family, Feeding America and a group of really enthusiastic local area residents to help package holiday meals and assist in alleviating hunger at the Northern Illinois Food Bank today,” Roloff said. “It was so inspirational to see folks working together for a good cause, and a great reminder of the difference we can make by lending a hand in our local community.”
