Tree Trimming On Geneva's West Side Scheduled In August
Crews will be trimming trees along sections of Western Avenue, South Street, Keslinger Road, Kaneville Road and Peck Road.

GENEVA, IL — Trees on Geneva's west side will be trimmed by ComEd throughout August, officials said.
Crews will be trimming trees along sections of Western Avenue, South Street, Keslinger Road, Kaneville Road and Peck Road.
Geneva owns and operates its own electric utility, but ComEd runs power lines through the city, requiring them to upkeep surrounding trees to "ensure electrical reliability since tree branch contact with power lines is a leading cause of outages."
