Two Businesses Fail Kane County Alcohol Compliance Checks
A bar in Sycamore and a bar in Burlington failed alcohol Kane County Sheriff's Office compliance checks.

Two people were cited for selling alcohol to minors following compliance checks earlier this month at bars, liquor stores and other businesses that sell alcohol in Kane County.
The Kane County Sheriff’s Office conducted the alcohol compliance checks at 12 businesses on Jan. 13. Two of the businesses failed the checks after selling alcohol to the sheriff’s office ”undercover agents,” according to the sheriff’s office news release.
Ronald Ritchey, 64, of Elburn, was cited for selling alcohol to a minor at Chucks Bar and Grill, 47w739 Route 64 in Sycamore, and Lori Ward, 56, of Marengo, was cited for selling alcohol to a minor at Mott’s Bar, 195 Main St. in Burlington.

- Stoney’s Tavern 1031 Ridgeway Ave, Aurora
- Parkside Lanes 34W185 Montgomery Road, Montgomery
- Rudy’s Bar 900 Hill Ave., Aurora
