West Chicago-Area Man Charged With Possessing Child Porn
A search of the home near West Chicago turned up electronics with child porn files, authorities said.
A 27-year-old man faces possession of child pornography charges following an investigation and search of his home near West Chicago on Friday.
Carlos Bucio Jr., of the 1S100 block of Joliet Road, was taken into custody Friday morning following search of his home. Detectives removed electronics from the residence and forensic examination revealed child pornography files, according to a news release.
The search warrant was obtained following an undercover Internet investigation by the sheriff’s office sexual predator electronic exploitation detective unit, according to authorities.

Bucio has been charged with two counts of child pornography, which are class two felonies.
