$16.75 Million Winning Lottery Ticket Sold in Glen Ellyn Remains Unclaimed

The winning lottery ticket was bought at a 7-Eleven in town and matched all six numbers in a Thursday Lotto drawing.

GLEN ELLYN, IL - A nearly $17 million winning lottery ticket sold in Glen Ellyn remains unclaimed, Illinois Lottery officials said Monday.

The 7-Eleven at 3S035 Park Boulevard in Glen Ellyn sold the $16.75 million winning ticket. The Lotto ticket matched all six numbers in a Thursday drawing. Those numbers are 16-24-28-33-48-50, according to an Illinois Lottery press release.

The retailer will receive a $167,500 bonus, or one percent, of the prize amount for selling the winning ticket.

The Illinois Lottery urges the lucky winner to immediately sign the back of their ticket and keep it in a safe place until they visit one of the Lottery’s five Prize Centers in Chicago, Des Plaines, Rockford, Springfield or Fairview Heights, according to an Illinois Lottery press release. Winners have one year from the original drawing date to claim their prize.
