2 Charged With Stealing More Than $1K In Items From Lisle Jewel
Police say the pair stole pharmaceutical items, beauty products, and food.

LISLE, IL -- Two men are in custody after they stole more than $1,200 items from a Jewel-Osco store in Lisle Wednesday, police say. Michael P. Laffey, 44, of Chicago was charged with retail theft and Andino Medina III, 43, of Chicago, was charged with retail theft, DUI, and aggravated driving with a revoked license.
Store employees told police that Medina and Laffey came into the store at 11:41 p.m. and stole beauty products, over the counter medicines, and food. They then fled east on Maple Avenue, in a van.
After suspect info was released, Burr Ridge police spotted the van in question on northbound I-55 near County Line Road and pulled them over. Lisle police arrived at the scene shortly after and searched the vehicle.

Police say they found more than $1,200 in stolen items in the van.
Laffey and Medina are currently in custody at DuPage County Jail as they await a bail hearing.
