4 Cars Burglarized In Glen Ellyn: Police
Police say the burglaries took place within two days of each other.

GLEN ELLYN, IL --- Glen Ellyn police are investigating four car burglaries that took place between Dec. 5 and Dec. 6. The burglaries took place throughout the village and all of them were committed on cars that had been left unlocked.
The first incident took place in the 500 block of Taylor, where a suspect or suspects entered two unlocked cars and rifled through their contents. The burglaries took place sometime between 11 p.m. on Dec. 5 and 5:45 a.m. on Dec. 6. Police say $200 in hockey equipment was reported stolen.
On Dec. 6, someone gained entry to an unlocked car in the 500 block of Park Ave. Police say someone got into the car around 1:44 a.m. and went through its contents but that nothing was reported missing.

Another car burglary was reported in the 100 block of Stableford. The incident took place sometime between 10 p.m. on Dec. 5 and 5:30 a.m. on Dec. 6. According to police, someone got into the unlocked car and rifled through its interior, but did not remove anything.
