4-Year-Old Child Critically Injured in Pool Accident
The child is reportedly on life support at Edward Hospital.
A critically injured 4 year old is in Edward Hospital on life support Saturday after the child was pulled from the bottom of a Lifetime Fitness swimming pool in Warrenville, according to authorities. Staff found the child at the bottom of a pool at about 2:20 p.m. Thursday, according to police.
The child was unresponsive and taken to Edward Hospital in Naperville. The incident at Lifetime Fitness, 28141 Diehl Road, was an accident, according to early information, but an investigation is under way. ABC Chicago has identified the child as a girl but officials have not released that information.
