7-Eleven Robbed At Gunpoint In Glen Ellyn; Suspect Sought
The suspect showed a handgun, took cash, and then fled early Sunday.

GLEN ELLYN, IL -- Police in Glen Ellyn are asking the public for help finding a man who robbed a 7-Eleven at gunpoint Sunday morning. An employee told police that the man came into the store at 803 N. Main St., showed them a handgun, and then left with money from the register.
The incident took place around 6 a.m., according to a news release from Glen Ellyn Police Deputy Chief Kurt Vavra. No injuries were reported during the robbery, Vavra said.
The suspect was described as a white male between 30 and 40 years of age with pimples on his cheeks. He was last seen wearing a green or brown coat over a gray hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
