AAUW Used Book Sale - June 20, 21 and 22
The Wheaton-Glen Ellyn AAUW Branch's 2024 Used Book Sale kicks off June 20. The sale will feature fiction, including science fiction, mystery, romance, and classics; nonfiction, including history, politics, biography, autobiography, and memoir; young adult books and children’s books. There will also be a selection of “Better Books” where you might find, collectible books, such as first editions or books signed by the author. Over 12,000 books will be available at the sale. Prices start at $2.
The sale will be held at Westfield Elementary School at 2S125 Mayfield Lane, Glen Ellyn in the Butterfield West Subdivision located east of Route 53 and north of Butterfield Road. Turn into Butterfield West on Buckingham Road (22nd Street), then right on Mayfield Lane. The location is easily accessible from Glen Ellyn, Wheaton, Lombard and Downers Grove.

Sale hours:
- Thursday, June 20, from 8 AM to 8 PM
- Friday, June 21 from 9 AM to 5 PM
- Saturday, June 22 from 9 AM to 2 PM
Note: On Saturday books will be $10/bag. All books must go!

Since 1881 AAUW has been a leading force for equity and education for women and girls with approximately 1000 branches nationwide. AAUW provides 5 million dollars annually in fellowships and grants to women. Their salary negotiation workshops have trained nearly 200,000 women and men how to negotiate salaries and benefits. The Wheaton-Glen Ellyn Branch was founded in 1956 and is currently the 2nd largest branch in Illinois.
