Armed Men Rob Soccer Edge In Glen Ellyn: Police

GLEN ELLYN, IL — Glen Ellyn police are looking for two men, one armed, who robbed the Soccer Edge store Wednesday. The incident took place around 1 p.m. at the store's 936 Roosevelt Rd. location.

The victim(s) told police the men entered the store and one suspect showed a handgun. They then proceeded to steal cash and merchandise from the store before fleeing the scene.

Police say they entered a light gray or silver Volkswagen with a sunroof and fled west on Roosevelt Rd. from I-355.

The first suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his 20s who was armed with silver handgun. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, jean shorts, a navy blue baseball cap, and aviator sunglasses. He is described as having short brown hair.

The second suspect was described as a Hispanic male in his late 20s or early 30s with an average build. Police say he had tattoos on both of his arms and a "tribal-like tattoo" with triangles that wrapped around his left bicep.
