Bartlett Man Charged With 1st Degree Murder At Spa
A Glendale Heights man was shot to death at Belle One Spa on Friday.

GLENDALE HEIGHTS, IL — First degree murder charges have been filed against a Bartlett man in connection with a Roselle-area shooting that left a Glendale Heights man dead. Donald R. Pelka, 59, shot and killed Kyle A. Gojdas, 29, outside of Belle One Spa Friday night, according to police.
Police say Pelka, who was a customer at the spa, started a "confrontation" with an employee and then had a verbal argument with Gojdas in the parking lot of the business. Pelka is accused of shooting Gojdas twice in the torso before fleeing in his car.
Gojdas was pronounced dead at the scene.
