Bible Study Materials Stolen from Car / Public Intoxicatin / Home Burglaries: Glen Ellyn Police Blotter

A look at recent arrests and police reports made in Glen Ellyn in recent weeks.

Here is a look at arrests made in Glen Ellyn:

  • Thomas S. Millett, 60, of 1610 President Street in Glen Ellyn, was arrested at 2:29 a.m. on Sept. 22 in the 300 block of Roosevelt for public intoxication.
  • Luke W. Cullinan, 23, of 100 W. Washington Boulevard in Lombard, was arrested at 9:55 p.m. on Sept. 22 at St. Charles and Forest for operating an uninsured motor vehicle, disobeying traffic control device, possession of marijuana 30 grams and under and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Laquisha L. Reed, 25, of 363 N. Broadway St. in Joliet, was arrested at Roosevelt and Main at 1:37 a.m. on Sept. 24 for operating a vehicle with suspended registration, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and failure to properly restrain a child.

Here is a look at recent police reports and unsolved crimes in Glen Ellyn:

  • A man burglarized two vehicles at Health Track Wellness Center, 875 Roosevelt, between 8:40 and 8:50 a.m. on Sept. 20. Missing from one vehicle was a bag containing bible study materials and a purse containing $400, a driver’s license and credit cards. Missing from the second vehicle was a purse containing a driver’s license and credit cards.
  • On Sept. 21 at 7:18 p.m., police received a report of a home burglary in the 800 block of Glenbard. A complainant observed an unknown male in his living room, according to the police report. The offender ran off with the complainant’s wallet. The offender is described as a male, unknown race, approximately 6 feet tall, and having a beard or long dark colored hair, wearing dark colored pants and a light gray hooded sweatshirt.
  • Police received a report of a person or person entering an unlocked garage and rummaging through two vehicles between 7:15 and 7:45 p.m. on Sept. 21. Nothing appeared to be missing at the time the report was taken.
  • Between 9 and 9:18 a.m. on Sept. 22, a person or persons smashed out a passenger side window of a parked vehicle at 501 Hill. Reported missing was a pink blanket and a yellow bag containing a black wallet. The wallet contained a driver’s license, approximately $70 and credit cards.
  • Police received a report of a person or persons breaking out a rear window to a parked vehicle at the YMCA, 49 Deicke, between 7:45 and 10 a.m. on Sept. 22. Nothing was reported missing.
  • Police received a report of a theft at a Dunkin Donuts, 1090 Roosevelt, at 3:02 p.m. on Sept. 24. An offender pulled away from the drive-thru window without paying for his order. The offender was driving a Honda Accord and is described as an Indian male in his twenties, wearing a white baseball hat, wearing a cream colored polo shirt and khaki pants.
