Blanket Donation to Central DuPage Hospital

75 blankets made and donated by WMS Church of God to the Pediatrics Department at CDH

On Sunday, March 11th, members from the World Mission Society Church of God in Bloomingdale made and donated 75 blankets to the Pediatrics Department at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield.

The church hopes these blankets have a small impact on the children that receive them, as they may be going through a difficult time. “We wanted to share the love of Mother. A blanket can offer warmth and comfort, just as a mother does. Through this donation our church is able to share the love of Mother, which is important not only to us, but also the world,” said Yeon Yu Choi from Church of God.

Church of God has received numerous recognitions throughout the world for its contribution to the welfare of society, including the President’s Call to Service Award in the United States, and the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service, and was given the title MBE (Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire).
